Thank you guys sooo much I really wanted to get my boyfriend (who is currently working in another state)something spectacular for Valentines Day and finding a "gift basket" for a man (who is also diabetic) is impossible. I searched soo many sites and the selection was terrible. A basket with a black or blue bow still isn't manly or cool! Not only was he excited,his friends went crazy they loved it. I got this for my man for his birthday. He thought it was amusing to pry open the crate, and the kids were amused watching him. There was a good amount of jerky inside the crate, and the selection was great. He likes to try foods that are out of the ordinary, and this crate provided that opportunity. I think I will order one for my 13-year-old son next time, he will really get a kick out of it as well.

I got this as a Valentines gift for my fiancé. He loved it. It seems that there a lot of complaints about the overall size and amount that you get for the price...this initially worried me as well. However after the crate was received and opened, there is quite bit, for jerky. You also have to factor in that the jerky is not from a cow! It's exotic meat, that &/€% is normally pretty expensive. A+, Man Crate peeps. I'll be back to place orders for Father's Day!

Was a surprise to my husband so he had absolutely no idea it was coming. He loved it!

I bought this for my husband for our anniversary. He thought it was awesome to open the box with a crow bar, and he loved the variety of jerky inside. I looked at other sites to buy the meat separately and put the box together myself, but jerky is not cheap so this was the best option(and the coolest). I'd buy again!

I bought this because I never know what to get my husband for Christmas because he has everything. He loved it. He has already eaten two packages of the jerky and is planning on taking it to work to share with his friends. The crate took some work getting into but that was part of the fun. I know where the rest of his gifts are coming from for future years. The shipping time was fast and price to ship to Canada was more than fair. I was impressed with my first order.

My dad is hard to shop for but I got him this crate for Christmas. It was THE hit of the day. Everyone loved that it came in the crate and with a crowbar. And my dad was excited about sampling all the meats. My mom and grandma went on and on about what a great idea it was and I've already had 3 more people ask where I got the crate so they could get this crate or another for the men in their lives.

This was a fun gift for my brother to open on Christmas. He struggled to get the crate open because it is nailed and glued....A little disappointed in the size. Thought it would be bigger for the price. The most fun came after it was opened and the whole family sat around and tried each item. Some were very dry, but others were pretty good. The all around favorite was the teriyaki elk.

It is so hard to get something for my boyfriend of almost 8 years. No I'm not waiting for the ring believe it or not we are happy the way things are, but I digress. as I was saying it is very difficult to buy him gifts because he does not like things, he an event lover! But he sure liked this one!! He loves trying new and exciting tastes from around the world and being a man quite naturally he would love MEAT, so to make a long story short...oh did you say to late?!? You nailed it! Right up high on the look out perch. One thing he said, and I quote, "That class one lever that was included to open the crate was inadequate, so I had to use a chain saw and a hammer. I would have liked to have saved the crate for my excess nails and screws but oh well." I would have loved to have seen that action. Anyway thanks so much for providing the perfect place to buy for the weird and difficult and to quote a famous AI, " I'll be back".

My daughter's boyfriend loved opening the crate, the crow bar, and he is keeping the crate. We all enjoyed watching the duct tape shredding and wood being pried apart.The jerky was really well flavored, I tried some of the boar,and was a nice texture. Great idea!

Wow my Dad loved it soooo much it came in a day. I ordered from Australia and had no drama at all. The thing he loved most was it being in a crate. I will be useing this service again. Just wish you could be in Australia to deliver.

While the gift itself was amazing, I was disappointed in the shipping. I paid to have it delivered on a day my hubby wouldn't be home. However, it arrived late so he was the one to get it. On top of that I was disappointed that it came in a box with the company name all over it. While he had no idea what was inside he knew where it came from and was able to go to the website to peek. For the amount paid it should come in more discrete packaging.

Thanks for providing something different to give as a gift! The only thing I'd recommend is don't label the shipping box with Man Crate all over it...kind of gives a bit of it away before the event. my father has pretty much everything he wants. until we found a man crate. the exotic meats crate was awesome. he said it brought him back to days he was in the navy and he got to try a whole bunch of different things. and it was a present for everyone else when we watched him try to open it.

I got the Exotic Meats crate for my husband's birthday and it was perfect! I opted for the duct tape wrapping, which made it even more awesome. I was a little sad that it didn't take him longer to open (he got it open in less than five minutes). I was hoping for a good 15 minute struggle (while I laughed at him of course), but with a few curses and the help of a hammer, he had the lid pried off fairly quickly.

He absolutely loved this gift! After tasting about half of the different meats in the crate, he went to the website and proceeded to inform me of which ones he wants next (all of them). He also told me that he wants a different one for every holiday from now on!!

I will definitely order from here in the future. These are great for any guy! Get one, you will not be disappointed!
